I have purchased a Steam game "9 Monkeys of Shaolin" and successfully remapped the controls to play on my Polycade Lux machine. Unfortunately this game does not offer multiple save slots. This is an issue with a family of 5 all wanting to play the game. Reading online the only suggestion I got was to create multiple account users on the Windows 10 machine giving each player their own session (save slot).

Would you agree this is the only way around this dilemma or is there something else I can take advantage of using the AGS (e.g., creating multiple Polycade AGS logins - one for each family member - will allow different instances of a Steam game)?

When trying to create a new windows user account, then restarting, it keeps loading the Polycade Admin account without letting me choose first. Any plans in the future to integrate different Win accounts with the AGS main screen so we can swap family members with ease?

If not, then I would like to default Win 10 to show all users in my household on startup, family member picks their profile (we do not need passwords), then Win 10 loads and AGS boots right up. Problem is if I create multiple user accounts and then select "users must enter a user name & password to use this computer" hoping we can pick a user account before win 10 loads, I cannot get back into the admin account because I do not know the Polycade (admin) password. If I lock the screen I cannot get back into the user account either without restarting the computer. I have tried the following suggestions and none will work using lowercase, proper case and uppercase (e.g., poly, Poly, POLY)

poly, polycade, admin, administrator, welcome, polyadmin, etc... I have also tried adding a 1 at the end of those examples.

Any suggestions as to how I can have multiple Steam save slots for different users and the password for my Polycade Lux Windows Account would greatly be appreciated.

Thanks!

@Uthuidos it sounds like your primary hurdle is the admin account on the system. Please contact by email support at polycade.com for direction here.

The multi-user system you describe should work with AGS, though the way things are now you might need to install AGS for each user - this is something we're looking into correcting.

Typically games save "personal" files to your user directory, so the windows user switching will probably work for what you're talking about.
