Ags games won’t download

Hello!

The bought games from AGS store show in the library and show available to download, but won’t download when I click on them. I’m logged in the system as well and didn’t work whether I was logged in or not.

I have already rebooted the software and mini pc. I’ve also uninstalled and reinstalled ags.

I think I have the same problem! I installed my Polycade Sente today - it works great!
So far I only tried the games that come-pre-listed in my Library. Some games I could download and play (f.e. Bubble Bobble), but for most other games I click "Download", and then nothing happens.
(of course I checked my wifi connection etc.)

This is what I got from official ags support through email which helped out for all but like 2 of the games so far:

Sorry you're experiencing this issue. Here is what I would recommend:

Log out of your player account on Polycade AGS and shut down the application.

Using the file explorer, navigate to "C:\Users<USERNAME>\AppData\Roaming\Polycade AGS" and delete the file there called "games.json".

Re-launch AGS, log back into your player account, and one-at-a-time try the downloads again. If a download fails or stalls for a long time, try restarting AGS once again and retry.
If you're still facing issues after this, go back to the "C:\Users<USERNAME>\AppData\Roaming\Polycade AGS" folder and send me a copy of the newly generated "games.json" file.

So if you’re still having issues you could send an email with the new games.json to polycade support team

I followed your procedure (tried it 2x), but unfortunately most games still won't download 🙁

Just to bump this post, I am having the same issue. Just opened the game and started installing. Had about 25 games installed and now no games are installing. Is there a log file I can look at to find the error/traceback and post here? I would rather not delete "games.json" and have to reinstall all the games over again in addition to the ones I am looking forward to installing.

Is there a way to just bulk install all games at once? I was not able to find that and feel like it should be an option for users. I can understand some people would want to only have a few, but unless I am missing this I feel like this should be a default option for new users.
