I've just completed the setup process and there are a few things I noticed:

The screenshot in Setup, Step 9 doesn't reflect my directory, besides the folders shown in the screenshot, I also have the folders: "app" and "utils". It would be helpful to know if this shouldn't be the case or perhaps add a note on what I should be doing with said folders. During the transferring of the supporting files I was prompted to replace files already existing, a note regarding that would also be helpful.
The path in Setup, Step 10 was incorrect for me, I was able to find the PolycadeUI.exe in the "polyface" folder, there was no "PolycadeUI" folder.
Upon starting PolycadeUI after adding the supporting files, none of the Steam games images appear with the exception of Broforce, Dead Cells and Downwell. I noticed more images appeared when it started for the first time.

Hey Urkel! Thanks for the feedback! We're going to update the install instructions, in the meantime here are some notes:

Sounds like you had a copy of an earlier polycadeUI (originally codenamed "polyface") on there. You can leave the "app" and "utils" folders there - they won't hurt anything.
Nice work, you found the right executable! Interesting to see that it installed in a different directory - this is definitely related to your earlier version. No issues should be caused by this. This is interesting info for us though, we'll be looking into why this happened.
Right now the PolycadeUI doesn't wait for images to download before trying to display them (oops!). If you restart the PolycadeUI, you should see all of the Steam game images!

Thanks guys, the images did come back the second time around with the exception of one game, "Wonder Boy: The Dragon's Trap" which doesn't only not show an image, but doesn't even show the placeholder blue square with the name of the game, it just shows an empty space, which although is still selectable and if clicked on, loads the page of the game up.

I have a similar issue - The path in Setup, Step 10 - I was unable to find the PolycadeUI.exe in the PolycadeUI folder. The installer created the PolycadeUI folder, but there is no exe file. I searched the entire drive to locate it, but I was unable to locate it.

Thanks for flagging this - we've updated the instructions to the correct filename! I mentioned above that the PolycadeUI was previously codenamed "polyface" - we tried changing the name and it caused other problems, so we rolled back to polyface.exe - and that is what the instructions now reference.
