I don’t know if this is the culprit, but Since i installed the Sinden light guns and got them to work, all the previous games I had whether I had added the ROMs myself or paid for them from the polycade store, which previously would automatically have the right button mappings for start/select(coin) and even the main six play buttons (green, red, blue, yellow, orange, purple) and joystick movement, , have ceased ro work… none of the controller buttons , not the start or select/coin, nothing even the joystick is working. Something happened maybe an update, maybe the addition of the light guns? maybe I messed something up. But I can’t play any games any more … buttons have no response.
However Polycade AGS UI seems to work with all the buttons, only when I get to launching the games and they launch when you discovered none of the buttons work. I hit the tab and would try to change game/machine or global mappings but they do not save, I lose the mappings as soon as I exit the game .
Can someone please help me? I went through the process of uninstalling and reinstalling Polycade AGS… no luck. And I do see both controllers as xbox360 controllers as expected plus my sinden light guns .
But none of the games are able to use it use buttons , so the games and the whole arcade are as good as a brick right now. Pls help 🙂
