With both a recent AGS and windows update occurring, Polycade is no longer recognizing any of my joystick or button inputs. Windows is recognizing them though, so not sure why Polycade is not.

Hi saulonunes . I have tried those things, but no luck. The controllers all are showing as Xbox 360 controllers for Windows and they test fine using the game controllers testing interface. Every time AGS opens, it just sits on the screen that shows what the buttons do and will not let me advance. It is like AGS is not recognizing the controllers at all, but the computer is. I did uninstall and reinstall the AGS too with no change.
Hi @ncoonce you can press ESC key to bypass the calibration screen, you can also disable that initial screen in the settings, let me know if the controllers are working in the home screen properly
saulonunes I press the escape key and nothing happens. It just continues to cycle through the game controls
hi @ncoonce can you try a fresh installation?
1 - Uninstall Polycade AGS
2 - Remove the following folder %APPDATA%\Polycade AGS
3 - delete all folders in %APPDATA%\Polycade\ EXCEPT games
4 - Download the AGS https://polyface-dist.s3.us-east-2.amazonaws.com/win/Polycade_AGS_Setup.exe
5 - install
saulonunes same result. I now load straight into the game menu but still no joystick or button functionality within AGS.
Hi @ncoonce can you check if the controllers are working in windows?
Control panel > Devices and Printers > Right-click controller > Game controller settings > Properties
Buttons/joystick circle should light up when doing the associated action on the controller
We need to check if the controllers buttons are working in the OS
Yes, the buttons and joystiks are working with the OS, just not AGS. They show the inputs being read when I go through to properties.
@ncoonce what type of controllers does your PC see? Are they Android / Xbox / PS3?
An easy way to check this is to:

Thank you guys for attempting to help me with this! I am really stuck. All of it had been working up until a week or so ago, so I am not sure what changed. I had played it, then went back to play again with no response. Nobody had played or touched it in between.

hi @ncoonce we are sorry for this inconvenience, we found an issue with 2 controllers plugged, if you disconnect the 2nd controller will work fine, we are currently working on a hotfix for this.
Thanks for the update! Glad it wasn't something I did. I was running out of things that could be wrong on my end.
Hi @ncoonce we deployed a new version with a hotfix for this, can you restart your AGS and plug both controllers to see if it works?
