okay sorry I didn't see the path of the wii folder well. the wii folder you have to create it in C:\Users************\AppData\Roaming\polycade\games\wii

Yeah I tried that and it still said it doesn’t exist. Dolphin emulator will run it just can’t find the game.

I am playing around with getting Dolphin to run in AGS and am having an issue. I copied the (polycade\config\config.default.json) file and renamed it (polycade\config\config.json) as instructed above. Then I copied and pasted the config provided by ceo16 into the file. (was that correct?). Now when I try to load AGS it won't start the process of loading.

When I delete the new config file AGS goes back to loading fine so I can reverse the damage very easily, but why won't AGS load when I am trying to run the new file?

had corrected.. how did you copy it into the file? you have to make sure you copy it the right way. if you paste the part of the copied file here I see if I can help you

ceo16- Thanks, I figured out the the config and have Gamecube games running on AGS now. I still can't get AGS to recognize wii games though. Are you running wii games? If so, what kind of files are your wii roms?

hello, I have a problem with very heavy games, such as those of the switch or the ps2. At startup Polycade Ags scans and finding such heavy files takes a long time to start.
Do you have any idea how I could solve it?
I tried to create a link to the file but unfortunately the emulator does not let me start it.

I noticed that with version 1.0.11 if I don't connect it to the internet my images of the games come out. As soon as I connect it to the internet many images disappear and the icon turns blue

ceo16 are you still seeing that strange behavior?

@joe45hir engineering made a hotfix that should have addressed the issue with the images you're missing. Working now?

I have an rpx file red-pro2 (Mario Wii U
and Mario kart: double dash ((doesn’t like the colon. AGS wont pick up the images.

Pretty sure if you just remove the colon in the directory title it should work. As a general rule, you'll want to remove special characters aside from '-' and '_' from the directory names. I think if there are double spaces left over, those are reduced to one space.

To give an example, before the update the spotify icon came out to me as in the photo I put here in the forum. After the update it no longer exits, if I start it offline the image returns.

Also can’t get nflblitz for the GameCube to show an image. I’ve changed the name. Asssets folder recognized the new name, inserted the proper header and it won’t pull the image.

Engineering is currently focused on making changes to the image loading & customization. Once this next update goes out we can reconvene on these issues and see if they're still happening!
